The Combined Aircrew Systems Tester (CAST) was designed to test the components of the COMBAT EDGE ensemble, integrating several required items of test equipment into a single, portable, rugged, self contained test unit.

It will reduce life-cycle ownership cost by accurately and effectively performing trend analysis, which is necessary for purchasing equipment and replacement parts.
